Nitrogen oxide (N2O). A colorless, odorless gas that is used as an anesthetic and analgesic. High concentrations cause a narcotic effect and may replace oxygen, causing death by asphyxia. It is also used as a food aerosol in the preparation of whipping cream.

Combination drug containing premixed 50% nitrous oxide (dinitrogen oxide) & 50% oxygen.

An antibacterial growth promoter used in animal feeds.

Gas hypoxic mixture of 90% N2 & 10% O2; GHM-8 is 8% O2.

Has pronounced sedative properties, but otherwise resembles imipramine.
